getting flashes while towing a heavy load

have any of u guys have a problem when your pullin a trailor with people flashing you when your going down the road with your lights on dim. i was hauling cattle 2 nights ago and noticed that everybody that i passed flashed me and i had my light on dim since my pickup was loaded down i guess my lights look like they are on bright. i didnt know if anyone else had this problem and what they did about it.

Yep, with my old truck that is why every truck I will own has airbags!!

I don't think there is any adjustment on these lights either

There is adjustment screws on the headlights and fog lights. I adjusted them back down after i leveled my truck and put the larger tires on. I agree that airbags are the solution though.

ya but if u adjust them down so they wont be so bright while towing when your empty wont it make them where they shine down to far

Precisely, yes. That is why airbags are the solution. They allow you to raise the rear end of the truck back up to the same point it was unloaded which keeps your headlights pointing at the same height. I was simply pointing out in my previous post that headlight adjustment was possible.

Timbrens helped for me. My 2500 sagged with my trailer empty. I did not want to see how bad it was with a loaded trailer so I got the Timbrens. They work great.....
