front drive shaft

front drive shaft

does anyone know where i can find a front drive shaft fo an '07 with 6.7 and manual trans? we twisted one off under fairly light duty, but have not been able to find a replacement and to afraid to even get a price from the dealer... is there any upgrades? any input would help, thanks

Check with an aftermarket shop for a custom made shaft. I've had two made over the past 10 years...1 ford and 1 chevy. They were both far better than the OEM.

As long as it was the shaft you twisted and not the joints or splines, a driveline shop should retube and balance one for around $125 or so. Maybe more with steel prices these days, but I have gotten custom shafts put togther (i.e. tubed) with spare parts for under $100.
