Front axle issues...please help

I have a couple problems
1. When ever I hit a bump I can feel it thru the steering wheel .... Just fixed a bunch of stuff because it had death wobble and I just don't trust it .... I've drove trucks of the same year that have nice right steering

2. There is a clicking noise when ever the trucks in 4x4 ..... But only when it's turning

Thanks

Sounds like you need to get the steering gear box adjusted, too much play in the sector gear allowing it to move up and down over bumps, then bump is transmitted up thru the steering shaft to the steering wheel. Clicking noise could be front axle u-joints going out. check for any play or rust coming out from the u-joint. I have adjusted gear box still on vehicle before, but to get accurate gear box adjusted and set to factory spec requires removal and adjustments done on a bench. Too tight could cause gear box damage and make vehicle very difficult to steer. If vehicle is a 1992 then I would be looking at the steering coupler also. Block the wheels and put parking brake on then have someone move steering back and forth with engine running. Check under vehicle and check for any play in steering linkage. Or take to front end shop and have them check it out for you. Good luck

Thanks bigiron70 !

I will definitely look into those things ASAP !!
The truck is a 2007

I had an HD steering box put in but that was all before the death wobble issues
Seems these aam axles arn't the greatest !
