Don't plan on too much noise... I couldn't tell much of a difference after I finished mine today.... Although It does have more power...

Absolutely NO smoke either?!?! I blew dust off the road but there was no smoke coming out...

Hey guys, once you get the DPF/EGR delege kits what's the MPG looking like? Either way I'll wait until my warranty is up, just in case my turbo eats it I can get a new one for free then go ahead and get the kits. Thanks

mine is MUCH louder than stock. almost too loud to be honest. it really does sound like a big rig. and when i have the exhaust brae on to top it off, my neighbors can hear me a 1/2 to 3/4 mile away. no sneaking in or out in the middle of the night with this beast! what system did you go with? 4" or 5", muffler still on?

I was hoping for louder but not super loud like a regular straight pipe. My MC has a muffler AND a resonator so maybe it won't be too loud.....

My Dad's truck is slightly louder than stock with the H&S stage 2 kit. Still very quiet in the cab. Much quieter than my '03.

Zilla did you get a 4" or 5" TBE? My 4" TBE didn't really increase the noise level in the cab of the truck any noticeable amount but outside it is CONSIDERABLY louder. I think a 5" TBE would be even louder than that, which would probably break the threshold of increasing the in-cab noise.

I got the 4" since I don't "PLAN" on any additional mods. Plus I'm just too tight to pay for the 5" system. I don't care too much about the noise inside or outside. I just don't want it as loud as SP. Been there done that.....

Hopefully the muffler you have on your MC will kill the sound a bit then. I thought mine was actually a little too loud and didn't really care for the tone when i initially bolted everything on, which is why i went back and welded on an AeroTurbine 4040. Now it sounds lovely, though if i had to do it again I would have went with the 4040XL and just cut off the last EGT sensor bung on my straight pipe.

4" Stage II and I left the muffler on....
It is a little louder but nothing like I was expecting... I was able to leave the house earlier and come back without my wife or kids noticing... And they were outside! So... No... Not very loud.

This is a necessity for the well being of the truck and my piece of mind. That doesn't count, does it?

I'm trying to keep it at "Stock Power". Upgrades to help it run better or look better don't count....
