First pull with 6.7

Well I hooked her up today with about 13k and she did pretty good. I tell you what I believe the exhaust is really restricitng the 6.7. I think the 5.9 opened up would out pull the 6.7. I am so glad to be back in a 6 speed.

So what truck do you have? An 07.5 with a 6.7? Did you borrow one? Or do you still have what your signature says ... an 06?

I used the truck to hall in hay today and the dpf doesnt like that. She was very hot under there. I hopes she burns that mess out of there. The system said ok so I kept on going. It did fine but I was worried about stoping that thing up.

I was just wondering why you didn't upgrade to a cab & chassis with the Aisan? I feel, with your use, that would be the best way to go. I can understand your anger at the Crysler auto's, the've ben junk for atleast the past two decades. But the C&C have a true medium duty auto from the start. See my signiture for my choice.

I haul a 27' gooseneck around all day five days a week with lots of vehicle parts some of which can be quite heavy. I have to agree with Kev on the exhaust is quite restrictive on these 6.7L trucks. I am sure looking forward to someone telling me what I need to do in order to remove all that stuff on the exhaust that is so restrictive.

I am sure its worth a few extra horses, but what I am hoping for more than that is a little better throttle response with a quicker spool up, but I can't see how better fuel mileage from getting this stuff off wouldn't happen as well.

Manual is all that I will have now. I had to get another regular dually to switch the beds with my 06. That was the best swap for me because my bed was built for that type of truck. I lost my butt with the dealer and Chrysler cheating me. I dont trust or like Chrysler now but I didnt have much choice in the matter. I hope no one gets treated like I did by them. Chrysler doesnt deserve a business
