Filling it up question

Just curious if it fills all the way to the top, or do you have to coax the last 4 gallons or so like the older models.

If that makes sense.

Get a tank vent kit and you can get 39 gallons in there and don't have to wait to top off. GDP makes a good one with brass fittings for about $55.

Gas tank on the new 6.7 trucks is different then my old 2004.5. The vent for the new tank is near the back and it appears to fill almost to the top on the initial fill. The most i have been able to add after the pump shuts off is about 1.5 gallons.

Not really 6.7 related but I saw a guy the other day pull up in his 03-05 Cummins, get out, put a 4x4 on the ground, pull his rear driver wheel onto it, then started filling up.

I thought to myself, hey I have some 4x4 wheel chocks I don't really use anymore, maybe I'll try it out? Haven't yet.
