i was driving around last night and notice in 6th gear with the rpms at about 1500 that if u mash the pedal down and keep it there and easy on the brakes to keep it at the same rpm after about 5 seconds of this the trcuk will comletly cut out and the etc light will come on it will stay shut down as long as u keep your foot in the accelerator but as soon as you left of everything if fine. is this some kind of computer thing or malfunction my truck is doin? thank you

 

Sounds like what my snowmobile kinda has. It senses a stuck throttle and shuts down as a saftey. Pretty ingenious if you ask me
