Drove new 6.7 yesterday !
As per my post a few days ago about the Dually. Went and drove the only 6.7 they had on the lot. It was the Sport 6.7 with the six-auto....
Coming from a GMC LBZ... The new Dodge was AWESOME. (NOT putting down any GMC, that was a great truck but the new Dodge is really different) People might disagree with me but I thought the motor pulled like an electric motor. From idle, up it pulls very strong and very smooth. I was really impressed. There were two times that I thought the Trans (being the truck had 6Mi on it) had not learned yet; it was jumping around if I slowly put the pedal down on the high way. It would drop down then up, then down, then back up..... I’m sure because it was brand new it was trying to learn my driving.
I thought the BEST thing about the truck (only driving it for 20 minutes) was the new exhaust brake. That was AWESOME !! I will get an 07 just for that. It works GREAT ! I know that the truck was new and I was not abusing it and not pulling a trailer but I can't imagine when I have the truck loaded and use the exhaust brake like it was intended to be used... Should be great!
Anyhow, just my little $.02 before we buy...... Thanks again for all the info you guys/gals supply !
