Drove a 6.7L Auto Yesterday... Nice!

Drove a 2007 Quad Cab dually yesterday with only 20 miles on it... I am impressed!

Truck rode very well for a 1 ton dually with a GVW of 12,200 (I think it was, or 12 something)
I was impressed.

Weather was 30 degrees when we started it, as indicated by the overhead counsel in the 96 I drove to the dealership, and also by the new truck's temp gauge as well.
We got in and drove it SEVEN TENTHS of a mile and had heat in the cab!

I was very surprised. I probably could drive my 12 valves 10 miles and only have the slightest inkling that heat was coming.. Very nice!

Transmission shifted very nicely and when manually shifting up or down it shifted RIGHT NOW... You can downshift fast enough to bark the rear tires.

Power is great, you can hit the speed limit pretty quick, its there before you realize it and the engine is SUPER quiet.. I thought the 5.9 was quiet, this is a new level!

Interior was nice, the exhaust brake feature is awesome! It sounds like a jake in the cab.. I could drive around all day just down shifting and listening to it. I bet it would sound awesome through a set of 5 or 6" stacks!

Count me in for MY2008.. I'll be leasing or buying one!

You have 2 12valves now, and are gonna get one of these too? Must be a good truck if you're willing to forget the in between years and jump right to the brand new one IMO. Glad you like it. I've heard a lot of guys lately complaining that the new trucks just aren't as good as the old ones, apparently Dodge is making some good choices. Good luck with it when you finally pick one up.
