Does anyone have a update on fuel mileage for the 6.7's?

We just got back from a 20 hr (driving) trip each way. We had three Cummins in the caravan, all three pulling trailers.

1. 2004 5.9 QC Dually , 700lbs in payload, 7000lb trailer, stock tires, 150k miles, Edge, intake, 4" exhaust.
2. 2002 5.9 QC Single, 700lb payload, 6500 trailer, 35" tires, 100k miles, Edge, intake, 4" exhaust
3. 2007 6.7 Mega, Single, no payload, 9500 lb trailer, stock tires, 15k miles, stock (no mods)

2002 (100k miles) and the 2004 (150k miles) both averaged between 12.5 and 13.5 mpg @ 70-75mph. The 2007 averaged 8 mpg.

Each time the 2007 empty light came on, we would all fill up, and the 02' and the 04' would still have a bit over 1/2 tank.

The owner of the 07 was rightfully a little disappointed in the milage he was getting, and was going to take it in to the shop this week to discuss with the dealer.

In terms of pulling power, the 02 with the 35's lagged a bit on the hills, the 04' (edge on 3 of 4, intake, exhaust) and the 07 (stock) seemed to be pretty even.
