Yeah, N. Texas doesn't do emission inspection or smog of diesels, but only inspections like they do for cars (blinkers, brakes, etc...) Not sure about Williamson County though. Delete, delete, delete.....2K isn't worth it and you have ways around it.

Me too. I bought my 07 5.9 for that reason. I too would say delete. Everything will improve on your truck if you do.

I love how the Feds made the truck companies meet these emission "standards" with out having a damm clue as to how or what a diesel does or functions......typical. And my sig is not working again? geeez!!!!!

I'd love to make a stealth system. One that looks stock but has everything gutted out. I bet it'd go over big in the 'Visual' States.

And I've stated this before, I've never understood this smog stuff. How can you burn more fuel per mile and be running cleaner? I've picked up an average of just over 4 MPG since everything fell off.

I agree with the fed comment, but I have to wonder how much testing Chrysler did on this implementation. Seems like they came with a design and just threw out there at our expense.

Kinda off topic, but how often do you guys experience regen mode and does the overhead notify you? I've never seen my overhead indicate what percent full the DPF is and begin the regen mode.

They ALL had problems, not just Dodges. Bottom line, diesels need to breathe, period.
