dpf in place.....soot on tip

I still have my dpf in place. Is it normal to have soot on the tip of the tailpipe even though I still have the dpf??? Looking up inside the tailpipe with a flashlight, it's covered in soot.

Mine was squeaky clean before I did the deletes....

Something is wrong there with the system. Mine is super clean in there.

Sounds like you may have burned a hole in the DPF....... I would take it to the dealer...

Mine has been black inside since right after my truck was new. My truck also will roll black smoke out every once in a while though.
