"dont Remove Your Dpf!"

I was going through youtube videos of 6.7's and found this one, I just had to laugh.

I like how that idiot lady keeps calling it a "DPF filter". Is like like an "ATM machine" or a "VIN number" or a "PIN number"??

"they shouldnt take the DPF off because it fills up with soot and kicks a check engine light"

well dang how does it fill up with soot if you take it off?

the techs talking dont seem too confident in what they are explaining either.

ben

sorry I dont know if this is considered OT or not, if it is, move it

Looks like the 6.7 "car" she talks about wont run without an EGR either. Darn. So much for everyone's hopes of hotrodding the 6.7

i would like very much for this lady to stick her ear next to my tailpipe so she can hear the little emissions gremlins eating away at my DPF and EGR. Can't hear them, she says? Here, let me rev it up a little...

I have the h&s but also have the Edge juice. All you have to do is to unplug the sensor electrical where the 2 hoses feed and you will be fine. It is up by the trans and I just left the hoses in place when I shelved the DPF.

Hmmm. The paperwork that came with the H&S stage 2 kit only said to unplug both rubber hoses, but not the electrical connection. Did I miss something?

On the stage 1 kit, under Remove factory exhaust step #2 says "Disconnect end of pressure lines attached to sensor mounted to the transmission. Do not block off or reinstall any lines to the sensor. If not using Juice with attitude to clear codes, unplug the 3-wire harness going to the pressure sensor, and leave unplugged. Zip tie out of the way.
I would imagine the stage 2 kit is the same.
