I happened across a web site from a manufacturer of DPF's and they state that the minimum life expectancy if a DPF is 5 years

its actually number of regens and mileage.. Mine made it 1 1/2 years and packed it in at 97,000 miles.

Mine made it for a year and 9 month, around 150,000 miles. It started coming apart on the inside. Cost of a new one, around $2200. I'll let you guess if it was replaced or not.

I hollowed it and the cat converter out so it looks like its there and went with the delete kit! $500.00 versus $3200.00
