Diff Pressure sensors for cat and particulate filter

I have sensor aft of both Cat and particulate filter on my 2007 6.7L Megacab, for differential pressure readings, is there going to be aynthing that cant trick the system into think the differential pressures are reading good? so i can delete out the cat and particulate filter. for a killer MRBP exhaust. Please send me your thoughts on this and thank you for your time.

Jpw,

You also have 2- Oxygen sensors and 3 egt probes.

Not quite as easy as one might think.

Patience, Patience, Patience.

jpw,

Does it have 2 sensors for the cat and 2 for the DPF?
OR
Just a sensor before and a sensor after the DPF?

I ask cause I think a differential setup would need at least 2 sensors for the item under test? Thus if sensor 1 (pre item) reads 10 and sensor 2 (aft) reads 2. Item is blocking flow and needs cleaned? I think I read somewhere that the 6.7L has a 'regenerate' mode to burn the stuff out of the DPF, but if they have sensors around the cat, maybe they monitor it also?

Not sure how to get around it, just my engineer mind working toward a solution.

Cheers
Joe

qzilla,

O/T but if the 6.7L have 3 EGT probes, the dealer better not hassle me for one post-turbo!

Cheers
