death wobble

Well it came back and yesterday pulling a 7,000 pound trailer. I am tired of worrying about it. I am pondering between two choices. I am either going to replace all the parts in the front end or trade it for something else. I am just afraid to put new parts in the front and it will still have the death wobble. I have the carli starter kit, carli track bar, 08.5 steering upgrade and bd steering brace. I guess the only thing left would be control arms, axle u joints and ball joints. Any suggestions on what to do? My wife wants me to get rid of my truck and is scared to ride in it. Thanks!

How many miles do you have? No warantee? Sounds like you have a nicely outfitted truck.

I had the same problem with my 2009 Ram 2500. I installed a 2.5" leveling kit. At 8200 miles they had to replace both the upper and lower ball joints. So, I still had the wobble. At 10K miles I was ready to get rid of my truck. I called Chrysler Corporate and they set up an appointment for me at my Dodge dealer. I took in the truck and they replaced the steering dampener, the tie rod ends, realigned the truck and reset my caster setting to 100% positive. I have put on 1500 miles since and I have no problem - no more wobble.

I think I just resolved this problem in my truck after a week of on and off issues driving through the rocky mountains.

I installed a new steering stabilizer and have had no death wobble in nearly 2 weeks.
