DA question

OK this may be a DA question but hers it goes. The wait to start indicator does not come on at all in my truck, is this normal for warmer outside temp? My power stroke would light up all the time regardless of outside temp or length of driving.

Mine has only come on a few times when the temperature was in the 50s.

Yes it is normal. It wont come on until 50*. The grid heaters will also cycle until for 60 seconds or until you reach 15mph. For you new guys, when the grid heaters are cycling, they do draw a good bit of current, you will also see a voltage drop, and your lights dim briefly when they it is cycling.
