Crank Case Re-route
On the 6.7 the vent runs through a filtering system. The filter gets replaced at regular intervals. They way he did it is completely wrong as it is no longer venting. He may end up with crankcase pressure problems. This link will explain the venting but it isn't the exact model used.

The CCV filter is located under the valve cover. Big filter, looks almost like a tranny filter. I believe the manual calls for it to be serviced around 65k miles. The overhead will tell you when it needs to be done. My overhead gave the message some time after 70k miles though.
