codes I've never seen talked about
codes I've never seen talked about
The other day coming back from a job with about 18k behind me, the ETC warning light came on. This happened while climbing a hill driving in cruse. The truck shifted down to 5th, then down to 4th, that is not unusual, it has done that a thousand times, but this time the light came on. The codes that came up, I've never seen or heard talked about before. P000F, P0087, P0106, and P0148. I know what they all are and I believe the over pressure relief valve opened up and caused these codes. Will it close back and the code go away or will it have to be replaced. Has anyone run into this or have an answer for me. The truck is running fine, pulls normally although it seems to be a little weak on the high end, and is stock, nearly 164,000 miles on it, no enhancements (chips) have ever been put on it.
P0087 Fuel rail/system pressure to low
P0106 Manifold absolute pressure system performance
P0148 Fuel Delivery Error
P000F?? not a code
You may have manufacturer specific codes also, a generic scan tool may not show manufacturer specific codes.

The code P 000F is a 6.7 specific code apparently. This is what it says.
6.7 dtcs
P000f-fuel System Over Pressure Relief Valve Activated
The question is, has it now closed back up because the truck is running fine, just has that red warning light and the codes are still set.
