My truck threw a 0489 code on the way home today. Can anyone tell me what code 0489 is?

EGR Circuit Low, I had this show up once about 40k ago and I cleared it off. Hasn't been back since! Could have been a one time reading.....lets hope!

I haven't been using my EB as much lately... Maybe I'll try to blow it out tomorrow.

Can I clear it off by a pedal sequence, etc. or do I need a tool?

You need a tool - or after 5 restarts without a problem it should clear itself out.
