blown 6.7 cab/chassis 08 trouble finding engine

our 08 had a turbo go down, pumped the oil out of crankcase, rod through the block , found some 6.7 engines but they are drifferent in a pickup and cab/chassis mine is a isb 305 with a cpl 2886, its an 08 engine. the ones i ve found are 08 6.7 cpl's are different. dodge dealer says they have different blocks, heads have different exhaust valves, injectors are different, pumps same but calibrated different, egr system different. any body been into this jungle before that could shed some light on this would help. I have found out there is more hp in the used engines than the one I had. I need an engine that will work. gonna do the dpf/egr deletes with a smarty box . my truck has the asin auto in it

Don't forget you can also look for the same c/c 6.7 ltr and Asin tranny out of a Sterling branded truck.

Im so used to voiding warranties, I usually forget that there are folks who still have em....

Good call though, if its a failure on Dodge/Cummins fault, let them fix it.
