Can you buy a CC and then put a regular Dodge PU bed on it?

I would think yes, but not sure since they always mention all components are below frame level?

You'd have a gap. The cab to axle is too long for a 8' bed. Up till now even all the f-450/550's w/pu beds on them have gap fillers.

Not a bolt on fit with the pickup bed.

The frames of the regular 2500/3500 trucks are very different (width length, and mounting height and positions) than the C&C's, and 45/55 100's.

the shortest bed on the 5500 and 4500 is a 9ft bed.
