My buddy call me today and told he got his cold air intake put on his 6.7 today. He said it is loud and he even thought it was louder than his 05 dodge. He said that the ring in the turbo is just like the 05 dodge is hold in by a snap ring

 

I put a homemade one on my truck and the truck wanted to surge some...almost like pulsating for lack of better words. Like not emough fuel. Put stock back on and it was fine. I used the stock sensors also in the correct direction. Has he said anything about how it pulls?

 

He said there was no problems with it he said the truck ran good and he like it alot makes made me want to get a airaid system been waiting on afe but the afe will be out middle of june I can just one more month.

 

Thanks...I think i noticed it once just a little ago with stock box. Called my buddy at dealer and he said bring it by in the morning....We will have to see....Maybe a flash?...who knows

 

who knows these things are werid sometimes and let me know if there any new flashes out for them.

 

wish the silencer ring in mine was held in by a snap ring, I dunno how in the world to get this thing out???

 

I don't know about the snap ring I will find about it when I get my afe system whenever they come out.

 

just pull the inlet hose off the compressor side of the turbo, if yours looks like mine, it's pretty obvious that they are way different? but I would love to know how to get it out??? Dusty

 

hey ryan i got the S&B cold air and it does wistle pretty loud and i know my ring dont come out like my old dodge
