I just bought a 6.7 dodge dually quad cab 4x4 auto and I am averaging 14 mgp via computer... If I am on the freeway I am getting 17.1 mpg. Hand calculated I am getting 16.5 around town and on the freeway total.

I love the truck and I have had no problems YET....

I have heard a ton of issues but when I bought the new 6.0 FORD 2003 and it was in the dealership 18x I realized I needed a change from the norm.....

I am enjoying the new truck....

Hope this helps....

Have 650 miles on mine. Overhead was showing 14.7 but actual calculations on the last fill-up was 13.1 These miles were combination of city and highway driving.

Mine when towing drops like a rock. Computer was reading 12.2 but I think it was worse than that. I hope it gets better someday or somehow

I went and test drove one yesterday for a few hours. The truck had 350miles on it and it was getting 20mpg on the highway and averaged over 16mpg in town. This is all on the overhead so take it for what its worth. But it was encouraging to me even if it was off 2 mpg, thats pretty dang good for 350miles on the truck.

we started the paperwork and i about took her home but i decided to hold out and order a 1 ton SRW instead of settling on the 3/4 ton

My new 6.7,mega,4x4 is getting around 16 mpg with 2200 miles. I expect it to get better. my 2002 5.9, qaud,4x2 gets up to 23 mpg with 107,000. It started out with terrible fuel milage, but at about 10,000 miles it started getting better and better with every tank. My 2002 truck has a K&N air filter and a fuel pressure boost chip and has run flawless. The 5.9 has definately proven itself to me. Ijust hope the 6.7 does as well.

New update on mine. I am sitting at 1500 miles and overall driving 70%hwy/30%city on the overhead is reading 16.5mpg with a hand calculation of 15mpg.

This is on a 6.7 dually, 4x4. auto no mods, 3.73 gears.

I have been driving on the freeway at 65mph on cruise and Ì am starting to go up to 70 on cruise to see if calcs change.

Hope this helps....
