6.7 Dodge Chassis engine light
6.7 Dodge Chassis engine light
Hey,
When I first got this truck over a year ago the turbo was replaced because the code kept tripping and part of the emissions system. It was one of the first to be replaced and I have not one problem till two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago the engine light came on and the dealer said the codes that were tripped were: U010C and P2806. The dealer said they were old and cleared them. One week later the same codes are back and the dealer thinks it might be the turbo again.
But they think it might be the western hauler conversion where the auxillary bed tank connects to the fuel line. I dont think this could be the issue.
What exactly do these two codes mean? The truck has about 20,000 miles that were mostly towing miles.
Thanks for your help!

U010C is a communication error between the vgt actuator and the CAN bus. Prolly not a big deal and definitely different than the prior P2262 which was fixed by a new vgt. Certainly not related to the chassis fuel system.
I don't have P2806 in my list. Are you sure that's what it was?

P2806-transmission Range Sensor Alignment. U010c-lost Communication With Turbocharger/supercharger Control Module. These Are The Codes That U Have. The Dealer Should Try A Flash Update To The Pcm/ecm. This Should Fix Ur Problem
