Hi guys, Need a little help and advice. I done the delete with the proper parts and smarty jr. tuner. Shortly after I turned on the exhaust break and something started whistling. After awhile [just a few miles down the rd.] when ever I got the rpms up to around 1800 it started making the same noise. Anyone out there ever had this happen or have any ideas? Thanks Cliff

 

You are aware of turbo whine? With the engine brake on/engaged,theres lots of backpressure and the turbo will whine/whistle noticlebly louder than with the brake off.Or you can possibly have a air to air hose leaking!Try loading the turbo by putting the trans. in gear hold your foot on the brakes and crank up the throttle and see if she makes the loud sound.

 

I had a whistle/whine and had to replace the gasket on the turbo.

 

I got the same issue was told it is normal. Now I worry if I don't hear it.
