6.7 CAT Delete Should Read This First!!!

First off, I don't own a 6.7, but I thought I would pass this on so others don't make the same mistake I did. Many of you people are deleting your Cat etc to get better mpg's etc. which I totally agree with. Anyway, whoever is doing the delete, I sure hope you didn't toss the parts of the exhaust system or sell them.

The reason is if you guys have ever priced the Cat alone, you would Edit yourself if you had to buy one from the dealer. The converter alone runs from 1800.00-2800.00 depending on which year and model truck you have. I was curious this morning and pulled different year models up on the mopar wholesale sites and about fell out of my chair! I was like holy Edit

The whole point is if every state got like the EPA and started enforcing the CAT being on the truck at time of inspection, a lot of you guys would be spending some big bucks if you got rid of your parts at time of deletion. I am looking for a kitty for my 05 5.9 since I drove off that day and left it at the exhaust shop. Dealer cost for mine is around 500-600 bucks. Costly mistake! Anyway, thought I would share this. Have a great day!
