22.5 wheels, tires, and gears question/help

New here, but just a quick question. How will 22.5 alcoas with 255/70/22.5 tires affect my truck. 2007 QC DRW 4x4 6.7L 6spAuto with 3.73s. Don't really do any hauling just alot of city and highway driving unloaded. Will I need to change gearing to the 4.10s or will the 3.73s be okay. What kind of mileage may I expect. Purchasing tires, wheels, and adapters from American Force Wheels in Miami. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

3.73's, 22.5's, and no extra power you might be unhappy. I have got some serious fuel and the 22.5's slowed my truck down a good deal. But it would look good. Just be sure you are ready for some power loss, the only good thing is you have 6 speed auto so it may have some lower gears than the 48re and help you get up and rolling. Give it a shot and let us know how the 6 speed tranny does.

I have 3.7 in my truck and they are still really low and have no problem with it at all, the key is the 6spd, however like rye i have alot of engine mods. Also try not to take as long as Rye did to decide if they are on your mind just get them and I am pretty sure you will really enjoy them, hahaha Rye

My 2004 is totally stock mechanically. I do have the 4:10's with the 48RE and did notice some slugishness when I installed the 22.5's. I don't haul anything, just tow my 24 foot enclosed car trailer. I don't really miss the extra ommph, because the looks seem to overcome that. All in all, I am happy with the conversion.

The new 68RE trans has a really low overdrive, so your power and mileage will really suffer with the new wheels and tires.

"rstone" on here went to 20s and 305/50s and it dropped 4mpg, even when he installed a Edge Juice w/att it didnt help, he still got around 14mpg and that was in a single wheel short bed 4x4 all hwy driving....

He now has a 5.9...... again
