2011 3500 srw

Got the bug to trade because of the hesitation in my 2008 (I think the turbo is going out), on the test drive of the 2011 which was less than 8 blocks the check engine light came on and the 80 % DPF full notice regen required now came on
I guess I should take that as an omen and just do the deletes on mine and hope that fixes the hesitation or flat spot. It is at relatively low RPm and there is resonance to the exhaust note as well..........What do you gents think it is? I have 33 K on the clock so the basic warranty is about up, is the turbo covered under the 100K.

The turbo is attached to the engine and its 5yr/100k warranty..

Is your trucks throwing any codes?

I would delete the truck you have. I think you will end up thinking you HAVE a new truck after fixing it.

I can pull a freeze plug from the EGR cooler side of the crossover and pop the EGR plunger back in and I'm stock... I have a delete pipe that bolts in place of the NOX/DPF and I can easily go back to stock...

I looked at your link the photos do not come through for me however I think I get the gist of it. I most likely will not need to worry about emissions testing in Montana but do not want to spend any more than I have to, so your california style is probably my best bet. I need to find the delete pipe and get a smary ordered. did you improve in MPG at all with the deletes in place?

one more question are the smarty or black max just to delete emissions or do they have a little power boost also?

The main reason I deleted was to improve the MPG and efficiency, yet there are several other benefits. And, yes they add power if you like that too. Better MPG and more Power =
