So I just bought an 11 3500 SRW 4x4 about a month ago. The truck has about a 1,000 miles on the clock.
How often do they normally go into regen? The reason I ask is it seems when it goes into regen and the muffler ehaust gets really hot i can smell all the decals and glue on the the exhaust componets for lack of better words burning outside the truck between the cab and bed. It has gotten noticably less and less but the issue is when it is in regen or just finished and I stop at a light coming off the freeway i can smell it in the cab if the heater or AC is on and not on recirc. Is this normal?

By the way i absolutely love my truck so far. Milelage is the only thing but even that I'm getting between 14 and 15 on a 1 ton truck. Cant ask for much more than that....
