OK LETS TELL THE WHOLE STORY , friday i had to run to the job and put a cabinet in i backed in the drive and the phone rang my bro , so i just left the truck running talked to him and then instaled the cabinet it took about 15 mins it was hot that day around 95 i pulled out of the drive and drove about 100 ft and relized the garage door was open so i stoped and started to back up and was pushing door opener at the same timethe door started down and then bam i heard lots of air i opend the door and it sounded like i had a blow out then all of a sudden my panic system went of lasted about 15 sec i backed into the garrage thinking i had a flat didnt want to sit in sun and change when i got out the tires are fine so scratching my head and A , i thought my spare blew out but i checked and its fine. i did have a sack of garbage in the back i m wondering if there was a spray can in it not sure . went to the beach today and still thinking about i tried the panic button with it in gear and it will not go off.. has anyone ever had this happen? 2006 3/4 /4x4 quad / auto

It wasn't your panic system. On the 06's if you reverse with the door open, it honks the horn.

That little feature will probably save a lot of doors.

Yeah, I really like it when I'm backing in to a camp site and open my door for a quick look, then all the other campers looking at me like I'm honking at them, and thats only second to cleaning my shorts out cause I forgot about that lovely safety feature

If you guys think that this is a bad feature can you imagine the repoessors that use Dodge trucks. The last thing they want any one to know is that they are there.
