Yet another driveline issue on my 2007 3500.
Yet another driveline issue on my 2007 3500.
Here I go again. I still have an active post dealing with a poping noise in the left front of my truck it makes this noise accelerating decelerating costing turning left or right with brakes on or off. Any ideas? Now my new issue is a very noticable whinning or roaring as I hit 50 mph up to 60 mph their isn't alot of vibration with this but it can be felt in the pedals, steering wheel and seat this also makes no difference if I'm on the gas or off the gas coasting. I did have the rear diff drained and replaced a couple months back and since that time I've read a few posts about an additive that is supposed to be used in the rearend is this true for all Dodge trucks? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

How many miles are on the Rig?
If your between 30 and 60-000. Welcome to the U-joint issues.
If your out of warranty, there is a post by me with a listing of greasable U-joints (verify your fit).
Front clicking is the front one (or if your over 80k miles its probably the hub or both).
Seat vibration could be a front one, but in my experience it's the one on the rear driveshaft..
