XRF lower ball joint boot failure

XRF lower ball joint boot failure
I had the front end completely rebuilt, ball joints. brakes, hubs, and tie rods. I noticed today that the passenger lower ball joint boot has a tear in it. What are the reasons that could happen? Its and XRF joint.
