wont idle down

I have an 03 2500 w/ 6 speed when you rev it up it will stay at or about 1000 rpm and stay there for30 or 40 seconds unless you let out the clutch and pull the engine down but if you speed it back up it will stay there. I reset the tps did not help then replaced the tps still did not help there are no codes and everything else seems normal any suggestions?

IIRC, injectors are in need of a checkup

i have an 03 5spd. and it does the same thing. i can get it to idle down with the clutch, but i can also get it to idle down by holding in the brake. i am pretty sure my injectors are in good shape

Exact same symptoms with my '03. However, I don't have the money it takes for replacement injectors. She still gets about 22 on the highway so I'll just leave her alone.

Inspect the engine wire harness near the a/c pressure transducer for damage. These wires have been known to short out and cause problems.
