what gives any ideas?

 

i have the same problem. no codes. when i turn my key to on position the engine light comes on, stays on for ten seconds then it blinks ten times.. then stays on....

 

Intermittently While Driving The Mil Light Comes On And Flashes Quickly A Few Times And Goes Out. There Are No Codes Setting.;While driving the Mil light intermittently comes on and flashes quickly and turns back off. There are no codes setting in any modules. Under hood electrical connectors and modules have been check for water and corrosion. No wiring concerns have been found. The instrument cluster may have been replaced due to this concern. It is possible that the ECM may cause this problem. Check the ECM connector pins tension and wire crimps before condemning an ECM. This was happening to my truck Dodge told me could be my ECM.

 

Maybe your fuel cap needs to be tightened? Happens to my truck and the wife's car occasionally, but it goes out after 2-3 starts.

 

My o6 with auto trans had a check engine light that stayed on and when checked it displayed no codes either. So I took it to the dealer and it ended up being the transmission input shaft ,front pump and clutch pack.. all replaced under warranty. by the by, It shifts better now than it did when new...
