won't crank

i have and 07 2500 5.9L with a manual. i when out after work to start my truck and NOTHING! won't even crank. turn the key and nothing. no clicking, no cranking. is the clutch switch on the ground side of the circuit? i checked it with a test light and nothing so it makes to believe its on the ground side. or im not getting any power the clutch switch. does anyone have directions on checking the ignition and clutch switches? doesn't the key have a computer chip in it? could that not cause it too? thanks, its going to be a long weekend without wheels!

BTDT, but it wasn't the clutch switch, it was a shorted wire to the starter blowing the starter relay fuse. Check this thread for details, pics and easy fix.
Back to morning brew . . .
