Why is it so hard to find a regular cab?

Ok guys i want a regular cab 03 or 04 4x4. Were there not a lot of these made? or do people just not want to sell them? i dont get it. alot of them i have been looking at have no power anything and that is a selling point for me. Where would be a good place to look besides the classifieds? thanks guys. i dont really care where it is because if it is a sweet truck it is worth the money to go and get it thanks

i don't know, i just did a quick search on autotrader and came up with over 30 03-04 4x4s. some are pretty nice. what about this one?

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

there does seem to be less of them then quad cabs, but i wouldn't call them "Hard to Find"

Dave Smith Motors had a ton of them in '06 when I wanted one. Unfortunately, they were all work trucks. I had to special order mine, which worked out fine. It's just the wife and I and that's all we need. We had an F-150 prior to this and the back seat was lonely. The TDR classifieds has them all the time.

I love the look of the regular cab. Good luck finding one, should be able to get an awesome deal in these hard, hard economic times, also they are not as popular as most people get one with the back seat, ( I don't know the sales #'s, but would be interesting to know) you may be able to use that in your favor? Post up a pic for us when you get one.

i think a single cab would be a work truck, so that is why they are stripped of options.

FWIW, i put power heated seats in my truck, LOT of work, but worth it on cold days.

a quad cab with the steel floor would be awesome for a single guy to haul his toys, my wife got groceries back there.

It took me almost a YEAR to find the truck in my sig out here on the left coast. I found a bunch of extended cabs, but that's not what I wanted. Do you have a dealer you trust? I finally had to leave a note with a dealer about what I wanted. The dealer was telling me that they usually don't even advertise trucks like that out here because they can't sell them. They usually just ship them off to auction.
