If yours has no stickers perhaps it already had the upgrade and did not need the reflash. ??? :

Re:WHY a Reflash?? And WHAT TSB's??

I had the cruise control recall done because it was a recall. Personally, I get concerned anytime they do a reflash because I'm not trusting that they haven't also tried to "fix" other things that they're not telling us about or that their fix won't cause other problems. So, if I can live with the problem, I leave well enough alone until enough time has passed that the new flash has been proven. And I find that out by reading on boards like this. I'll get my gauge cluster reflashed some day but I'm in no hurry.

I haven't received a recall on mine so I assume it was either done before I took it off the lot or they just haven't gotten around to sending me a recall notice..

I have not had the cluster reflash done yet because I have experienced no problems in regards to the cluster. I cringe every time I think about going in for service. I have had nothing but bad experiences with three different service departments. I am yet to find a service department that is worthy of one star, let alone five stars. :P >

The only truck I've ever actually had to take in for service was my 1995 Chevy S-10....and I had pretty good experiences at both of the different dealerships I took it too. I gotta say though...that was a pretty good little truck. I put 90,000 miles on it in five years and the only mechanical problem it ever had was I had to replace the water pump. Outside of that it was minor stuff (door seal started leaking, horn didn't always work, AC quit blowing cold air....all of which was fixed without question by the dealership).

I can't comment on Ford service because I never had to take either of my Fords in for any service.

As far as the new Dodge....if getting anything fixed is as difficult as it was to get a Class IV hitch installed when I bought the truck then I just hope that I never have to have the truck serviced for anything. :

Re:WHY a Reflash?? And WHAT TSB's??

I had mine done since I received a recall notice in the mail. They put a sticker under the hood after the recall but the sticker never stuck so it's not there any more. I never experienced the CC problem before or after the recall. My towing mileage did go down almost 2 mpg but my no load mileage is about the same.
