whay does 5 gear slip out so easy in mt 6 speed nv5600 it did the same thing in my 1999 5 speed. If i put any amount of pressure on the shifter or hi a hard bump in the road it does this i only have about 7,000 miles on the truck.

i can slip all my gears into neutral when i break torque [let off the throttle] with nearly zero effort, but if it is any under load [throttle or coasting] i can't pull it out, and you shouldn't be able to pull it out... why yours is coming out of gear on its own on a bump is a ??? to me

 

If yours is coming out of gear on a bump, take it in and have them fix it. Mine comes out of 5th diferently then the rest of the gears but has never popped out.
