why???
why???
Ok here is the problem... I have done nothing to my truck, the way it is is the way I bought it. The problem is when I nail the go pedel to the floor nothing happens... other than the engine spooling to high hell and me noth going anywhere!!! Im at a loss. This is my first diesel and I dont know ***. Things I know of are the banks tq converter and the banks six gun that is not even attached to a pda so I assume it's off. I have what seems to be enguagement in the tranny up to about 3/4 pedal and after that it just lets go and she does nothing but rev. Regular driving is great. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
had the trans out 4 months ago no burnt fluid, no goodies, and the re-fill was all bullydog fluid. I pulled it out to replace a "stock" tq converter and thats when I found the banks unit. nothing changed from removal to re-installation.
Does it slip at WOT but low speed? Put a trailer behind it and try under load? If the engine is revving up but not going anywhere, its gotta be the tranny (or TC). Everything else is hard connected.
