15,500 miles. Only problem was a knock at idle at 7000 miles. Used Hammerdown fuel additive - knock gone. Smooth as silk. Great truck.

Vibe problem: fixed with replacement driveshaft/tire& wheel swap
Fuel mileage problem: fixed with reflash
Weatherstripping problem: fixed under TSB

Every issue I've had has been addressed quickly and effectively by my Dealer at no cost to me other than some time invested exploring the internet.

I'm happy with my truck now, no current problems to report.

Despite the few problems like door seal, and a transmission cooler line leak which were both fixed promptly by my dealer the 27000 miles I put on my truck were the best 27000 miles I've ever driven. Wouldn't own another truck!

I have no issues but slight wear on the door seal at 42k. I think this truck is as perfect as they possibly can come. Mileage is getting better as time goes on too.

Just drove 400 miles, 28,000 vertical feet change, 85-90 mph average...16.5 mpg!

It is amazing to me that people think there are so many problems with our trucks when in fact only people with problems post complaints. This post proves that.

ADMIN GUYS = There should be a disclaimer when you sign up for this site. Something like; "Reading these posts may be hazardous to your well being and wallet . You will get "truckitis" and think everything is wrong with your truck, and then spend money for BOMBS to keep up with your buddies."

160,000 miles with minor only things, seat repair (caused by my big butt). Fuel sending unit, fan broke (may have left tool under hood) 3 LP's (installing Fass in the spring)

Just sit back and enjoy the smell of diesel man!

Exactly 1 year old (11,500 miles).
Problem free except for the blow-by odor which decreased after oil change to Delo 400. I just changed the oil for the 3rd time and seems to be even less noticeable.

there are 5 04-05 Dodge ctds around me and so far there is only one with a problem. it has a loud knock and looses Fuel milage when it starts knocking while driveing it. tried running a fuel treatment but so far no help. the truck will drive and start good but after it warms up and has been pulling loads for a while it starts to knock and loose HP. Went to one Dodge dealership and no problems found. the other one says they will figure it out as soon as he can get the time to take the truck over there again and let them have it for a few days.

If the door gasket is problem enough to steer you away from an otherwise wonderful truck, then you better start running.

Otherwise you should look and compare. The RAM is by far the best of the three and what you see on this forum (and others) is more the exception than the rule. Look at our worst case, then compare to the Ford or GMC posts.

Folks don't tend to address their lack of problems. And by the way... RAM's do have their faults. Mostly, though, these are minor and don't leave you stranded beside the road.

A damaged O-ring on the lift pump and a cross threaded hydroboost line. That's it so far.

My point of this post was kinda missed and that was my fault for lack of explaining. The problems that are known to me are knock and vib..I dont have vib but have a serious knock. The problem I am refering to is having to deal with Star to get the warrenty work done. I know the dealers do this and some dealers are better than others at working around star...My point was meant to be (but I am an idiot and dont explain things good) that I think spending this amount of money on a truck and getting what I consider a very good warrenty then to be told.."well you have to high idle time" threat is BS....I guess all dealers and man..will be the same trying to save money...Just venting my own personal frustration.
