Got up this morning and started up my truck and had white smoke coming out the tail pipe for a while then stopped. This was the first time its done this since I got it. Is this normal or is it the start of a problem. By the way its a 2005 3/4 ton 4X4 with 10,000 miles. Thanks for your help.

i dont think you have much to worry about,esp. at start up..dont hesitate to take her in to your dealer, if theres any prob. you want to "nip it" sooner rather than later,hope this helps have a great summer.

 

White smoke at start up can be the symtom of a leaky injector. Good idea to have the dealer look at it.
