I went to Advanced Auto yesterday and Walmart and neither had the type of coolant that our owners manual calls for. I saw many different kinds and colors, however I couldn't find any of them that actually stated that they were HOAT.

I know that I can go buy MOPAR but I'd like to explore other options first. Thanks

Don't bother!

A member of my chapter is a Cummins instructor. He told me that,"It would make no difference what type of coolant I used red or green as long as I got that environmentally friendly crap out of there!!". (Direct quote!)

I bought Prestone Dex-Cool premixed at Wally World which says its compatible with Mopar HOAT. Hope I didn't mess up.

 

Dex-Cool is OAT. Don't know if it's bad to mix the two together but I wouldn't try it.
