Anyone know how to check HOAT coolant beside a refactormeter. From what I have read through a search the only accurate way is with a refactormeter tool #8286. I looked up the tool cost anywhere from 250.00 to 295.00. The old turkey baster with the ***** will not work. I will just do a drain and 50/50 distilled water fill with Zerex G-05 in my journey if I can find that. I don't know if all the dealers are using the pink or not I was at one here and all I saw was DEX-cool.

 

does ur 12 valve not have regular green coolant in it?

 

My 12 valve does have the green stuff but I also have a dodge journey with the HOAT.
