Where to buy injectors?

Where are you guys buying injectors? I can`t see spending $400 + at the dealership. I`m planning on adding an after market fuel filter as well so I don`t have to do this again.

Seriously these people (J&L) are a joke I have been waiting for 4 weeks for injectors.I`m calling tomarrow to cancel my order. Mad doesn`t even start to describe what I`m feeling after being promised them 3 weeks in a row. Anybody else know where I can get injectors fast ?

I would go to a Bosch dealer and get the factory rebuilts. I just went through this trying to be frugal on my 08.

Just sharing the experience. I'm not saying where I got the first ones

Edit
I see you are not far from me. Stay away from that crook in NJ too. He has a bad rep

It`s a shame people don`t do what they say anymore. Just tired of the games. It seems to be many of the companys in the deisel market.

injectors

Finally the injectors came. After calling to cancel my order today, and of course the 2micron filter system didn`t show up with it. Seems I can`t get ahead. The injectors should be installed in the next week or two with the holoidays and weekend the dealership is to put them in as they owed me some credit from pryor work.I will keep everyone updated on the progress. Looks like I will soon have a truck again. 5+ weeeks later.

Well an updated on the injector situation. I had an 8/2 micron filter installed and the new injectors/ remans from jl machine the injectors took quite a long time to come and of course I got a bad one. They are to send me another to replace it with. Just my luck, as of late I have had none.My truck has been down for almost 2 months and none of it has been my fault all waiting for schedueling and service and parts.

I guess the price was middle of the road at $265 ea. so I guess I was hopeing that service would of been good as well I have found many as low as $225 each and shyed away as they seem tooo good to be true. This will be a lesson to me I guess. The guys at jl machine were helpful and curtious just slow. They told me they have very few issues with these bosh injectors. But I guess you live and learn.

The set I got from JL machine works perfect they are rebuilt for $250 a piece they are top notch to deal with but your truck will be down for at least 2 weeks unless you have an extra set round here everyone wanted double for what I got from JL I now have 25,000 and no problems

These were rebuilds with new tips. I hope this is the end of my injector issues or this truck will be gone to a new home. They sell several different type injectors (all Rebuilds). Hope this is not there normal business practices. They seem good on the phone and never deliver only after repeat phone calls did I get my stuff. My truck has beeen down for 2 months not weeks. Good thing I have many cars. The truck starts good now and makes good power on 5 cylinders so not a total loss. I will keep you guys posted on how it all plays out and how satisfied with them I am.
