service

Well another week with out a truck. The replacement injector never showed again this week. Then a bogus tracking # didn`t help. Not sure what I paid $1800 for at this point.

A little over a week they finally got me they a replacement injector . The truck runs well now. Just took forever to get the injectors. They are a stage 1 injector and work very well so far.

more injector trouble

I have only put 2500 miles on the truck since the injectors were installed and at that point a complete filter system was also installed. Now I have another bad injector. Not at all Happy with these injectors. Every time I drive it there seems to be a problem. Yes injectors. Hope this is the last time. I just keep thinking I should of kept my v10.

i got a set there, dropped mine off and picked them back up in a week.
they were done in 3 days, just didn't have time to drive there, it's about a hour and a half from work.

mine ran fine from the moment i started it.

if you have hundred dollar bills in your hand you get a better deal.

i believe they said they only had a few sets of cores for the 03 right then, so it was faster if you send yours in and have them done what ever way you wanted.

i chose stock.

Well I could drive 6+ hrs. for a new injector but that seemed sence less. But I may soon end up there to let them know how unhappy I am with these bad injectors. The money spends the same in person or over the phone. Its wonderful to here what a piece of s&#t truck you have from your wife and having her be right and its not my fault, other than not buying from a good local supplyer.

update

Well I spoke to the machine shop late day friday, he told me they finally got the injector in the shop and would get it out to me. Another week with out a truck again. This is nuts. I think that I will be contacting F-1 soon and having them redo these junk injectors the next time I have a problem. I can`t keep this up.Please Do your self a favor and do a through search or buy local when spending this much money.

I hear this story ALOT on CR Injectors for our Dodge CTD CR Trucks!

I bought new CR injectors from my favorite vendor, Scheid Diesel at 100,000
miles and have had NO issues whatsoever since they were installed in the truck. I have already got almost 30,000 miles on them too! Scheid Diesel is a full service Bosch Certified Shop with two (2) Bosch Test Stands specifically for our CR Injectors. They are not the cheapest, but I feel their prices are very competitive and they stand behind their work.

Purchased a set from diesel auto power and delivered in 4 bussiness days. Will see if they all work this weekend after the 2mic filter install. Payed 300ish for 60hp over stock with dragon fly nozzles.

One more reason to choose wisely

I got my injector on saterday and it was installed on tuesday. The truck now belches smoke like crazy and continously from idle to wide open throtle. Not sure what to do next. I guess back to the shop. I think the diesel game is too expensive for me. I`m hoping to Go to try and trade for a gasser that isn`t in the shop more than driven. And Yes bad luck is my middle name.

update

Well my truck is now at a certified cummins dealer, everything checks out good on the truck with the exception of the injectors again. Calling Jl machine to see about some sort of reimbursment or complete set of new injectors. This is the 4th injector bad in 3000 mi.This company has been bought out by wolf creek performance so who knows how the warranty will be honnered. I will keep everyone posted as this has been an on goeing night mare.

Another up date: The truck is running good now (6) stock reman injectors. The people at Mumau diesel were great and worked with me ,as if I had been a long time customer. As for the old injectors they are on there way back to jl machine/wolf creek performance. We shall see what kind of warranty they have. They said they were willing to buy them back. I will update when I know more the out come.

wolf creek performance/ J l machining

Yes Precision diesel is who kevin bradly at wolf creek Performance / jL machining said they were getting there injector bodys from. I personaly would not buy there as they told me they were at fault for all the injector problems I had. Wolfcreek Performance / JL machining was to refund my money if you read all the posts from me you will see all the trouble I have had; And now they will not even contact me back after wanting to (work with me). So I`m taking a different route to get my money back.(court??) I would not deal with anyone who has a hand in wolfcreek/jl machining / precision diesel. Just Me
