Wheel covers and Drag link

Could use some help with both of these topics. I have an 06 Dually and just recently did the frt brakes on it. A buddy helped me and put the wheel covers on wrong and broke some of the clips that hold the cover in its place. So I purchased a new set and the same thing happened. What could I do because it makes a sound that is annoying as heck. Second, I need a new drag link and was looking to go to the dealership to get it because I have not been able to find one. Any suggestions would help.

Use duck tape around the inside edge of the cover, the noise will stop. I haven't replaced the tape in 3 years.

Thanks for the tip retirednak. During this past weekend I put some quick ties on the inside holding the wire from moving. Then I put some velcro backing on the wheel and the cover thinking it would keep the cover from making noise, well it didnt. I was going to wait til this weekend and pull those suckers off. You put the duck tape over the wire? Like half on one side and half on the other side of the wire sorta like if its draped over it? What do you use to keep the cover from moving? Mine moves around, I know that for sure because now I dont see the vent holes anymore and this is the second time I set them right.

You will have to play with how much tape is needed to quiet that sucker down. Mine didn't move around much, just made a lot of noise. I saw a picture of a guy who used plastic tie straps to stop his from moving. It did look kinda crappy, but it worked for him. As much as our trucks cost, you would think Dodge would come up with a better cover.
