wheel bolt pattern

wheel bolt pattern

I have a 1994 dodge that I would like to put wheels from a new (17") dodge on. some one told me that the bolt pattern changed to metric! Did they do this? and if so when?

I think not. As far as I know they are 8x165 aka 8x6.5. Ford is the only maker using metric 8x170.
