05 question

Buddy just bought and 05 slt 4x4 2500 auto so. When I was looking the truck over I noticed a rocker switch down below the headlight switch. Looks to be factory but we have no idea what it is for. Can anyone tell me ? Switch just says off/on by the way.

No rocker switch on mine either. Might be a mod for the horn backup. What happens when you turn it on or off?

The truck also has some small decals that say Texas Towing. That maybe some after market package. I thought the rocker switch maybe for an exhaust brake. We are going to find out later today.

Is there a exhaust brake on the truck? (Or could have been)

That or maybe it was just a switch the previous owner had for either trailer lights, or maybe even the TC lockup switch mod

not true. pacbrake makes a trans module that locks it up for the ebrake usage. no trouble with an aftermarket unit.
