What is the bolt pattern and width of my stock rim on my 94 CTD 2500

should be an 8X6.5 pattern, not sure about stock width though.

 

crome rims will be 16x6.5 w/8on6.5 bolt pattern

 

Dave, is that the chrome rim?? If so, I believe its 6.5" wide.....and no, you likely cant mount anything much larger than a 265 tire.

Seems like a smoking deal for the price.....

But I think I am leaning towards a 18" wheel.

I installed the 2 " leveling kit so I am thinking with a 9" rim I should be able to get 35's???? I have 285's on their now and they are right at 33" tall....

And a guy at work gave me a set of 2001 2500 rims that are aluminum. Is that year still 6.5" wide rim?

 

No, the aluminums are 8" wide.

Im no tire guy, but I would think that 9" would be just about right for a 35" tire.

How are the 285's on the narrow rim?? Do they wear ok??

Evil the 285's are wearing good. I keep them air up and so far no issues. The truck had the 285's already mounted when bought the truck back at the end of August. The paper work in the truck shows they where purchased back in 11/04 from Les Schwab. All Terrains....... I will keep my 285's for winter driving and get new rims and larger tires for the summer. So maybe I should mount the 285's on the 2001 aluminum rims?

Unless you modify something , the aluminum rims won't fit on your truck. It has something to do with clearance between the brake drum and the inside of the wheel. I have heard you can just grind the offending parts of the drum , or switch up to newer drums.

 

P.S.- i hope 285's will fit on the chrome rims , because that's what i am putting on this saturday.
